The Dayton Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art program that focuses on ground fighting, self-protection, and applying takedowns, throws, joint locks, chokeholds, and sweeps to defeat one’s opponent. Developed in Brazil, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu traces its roots to the Japanese martial art of judo and traditional jiu-jitsu and has evolved to become its martial art, sport, and way of life.
This class is open to all adult/jr students (13 and over) studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Students will learn a range of fundamental to advanced BJJ training techniques.
