A young newlywed couple was found shot dead in their Virginia Beach apartment on Monday, and police are now looking for the husband's younger brother who they call an 'endangered adult.'

Alisa Wash and Talon Rodgers, both 23, were married on March 11. A photo from Alisa's Facebook page shows her smiling in a white dress next to her new spouse.

Police said they don't believe the deaths were the result of a domestic dispute. No motive has been announced and no arrests have been made.

On Wednesday, officers announced they're looking for Rodgers' younger brother Collin, 20.

'Due to the unknown circumstances surrounding his disappearance, Rodgers is considered endangered,' police said.

The couple got engaged in 2020 and were motorcycle enthusiasts, according to Alisa's social media, which shows she was part of a group called the Reckless Ladies SC.

Tributes from friends poured in on social media.    

'Sisters for life,' wrote Jennifer Branch, who posted a photo of herself and Alisa with the Reckless Ladies and Black Widows, presumably another motorcycle group.

'Just heard about another beautiful soul gone way to soon Alisa Rodgers your going to be missed,' wrote a Facebook user by the name Mrnmrs Jimenez. 

'In the short time that I've known you you have only showed kindness and the most respect even though I was rude at times you never held that against me rest easy beautiful I'll be praying for the both of your families may you fly high R.I.P Alisa.'  

Alisa graduated from the private Walsingham Academy in 2017. The K-12 school in Williamsburg, Virginia costs up to $18,360 a year for high school students.

She went on to attend the University of Lynchburg, according to her Facebook page.

When police arrived at their apartment in the Thalia Gardens Apartments and Townhomes complex, they found that Alisa and Talon had been shot.

A woman who lives in the unit above them called the police after a friend of the couple knocked on her door. The friend asked the neighbor if she had seen them, since no one had been able to reach them and Talon hadn't shown up to work.

Police are now searching for Alisa's brother-in-law Collin, who was last seen at his parents' home in nearby Yorktown on March 27 - a week before the murders

The couple seemed happy, the woman told the 'They were such good people,' she said. 'They were always together.'

Their next-door neighbor Zak Rabe told the newspaper that he was working at home late one night last week when he heard 'a couple of loud bangs.'

'It was the middle of the night,' Rabe said. 'I had my headset on. I couldn't really tell if it was close or far away.' 

Brook Thornton said Talon lived with her for a few months after he graduated high school. Thornton is the mother of one of Talon's high school friends.

'He was so sweet. He was like a son to me,' Thornton told the Virginian-Pilot. 'He knew what the rules were in our house and he always followed them.'  

'They were such good people,' one neighbor said of the deceased couple. 'They were always together'

The couple got engaged in 2020, according to Alisa's Facebook. Alisa attended the private K-12 Walsingham Academy, which costs about $18,360 a year for high school 

Collin is described as being 5 feet 9 inches, 140 lbs, and having dark blonde hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen by his parents at their home in nearby Yorktown on March 27, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. That is one week before his brother and Alisa were killed.
